The Graphic Design II course is an intermediate level design course. Although this is a required course for all Graphic Design majors as well as Fine Art major, this course also includes students from various majors and backgrounds (Graphic Design I is a prerequisite course). Students in this course have created art work for print using: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The Web design component of this course requires students to work with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, ImageReady and Illustrator.

The final project in Graphic Design II is an online digital portfolio. For most Graphic Design majors, this portfolio represents the best digital art work from two years of work from one's freshman through sophomore years of study. During their junior year of study, Graphic Design majors also learn HTML, cascading style sheets and basic java script functions. At the completion of their senior year, graphics students create an updated, multimedia online portfolio.

All students in this course post their web site online. There are currently over 60 student web sites from this course posted on digitalmutiny.com.
